Dr. Torree McGowan, MD, FACEP, is a graduate of Oregon Health and Science University. She completed her emergency medicine residency with the US Air Force through the San Antonio Uniformed Services Health Education Consortium. She then served 12 years Active Duty military and is a combat veteran with deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan. She is currently a Lieutenant Colonel in the Oregon Air National Guard. She currently works at St Charles Medical Group in Central Oregon. She is a nationally recognized speaker on disaster preparedness and mass casualty response and serves on numerous national committees with the American College of Emergency Physicians. She lives on a hay farm in Culver with her husband, their two boys, 5 horses, 3 dogs, and a cat.

She discusses how she rearranged her life and got clearer on her values and priorities to be more present as a mom and wife.
